Haws Family

As far as families go, I love this one! Always will. I had so much fun doing their session. That’s probably because funny people rule.:) I just love everything about how these turned out!

Sneak Peek: Walker Family

My little brother, Joey, and his cute family. His daughter, Kennady, sort of hates my guts and doesn’t like to look at me, so it was a bit exciting!:) But I think we got some cute ones anyway. She can only resist for so long.:)

Sneak Peek: Tomer Family

I’ve done this family before…..well, the girls anyway. They’re gorgeous! What a good looking bunch. Anyway, we did a Christmas card family session and it was a blast. I LOVE how the photos turned out. Hopefully they love them too since my opinion doesn’t really count in the grand scheme of things.:) Enjoy!

Sneak Peek: Jones Family

This was probably my scariest experience to date…..mostly because my friend Shanae is a photographer herself…..and a darn good one at that. You can check her out if you don’t believe me: www.shanaejonesphotography.com . I’ve decided that there’s nothing more terrifying than creating art for another artist. It’s just the way it is. HOWEVER, it was also probably the EASIEST shoot I’ve ever done. She knew exactly what she wanted…..and has the expertise to know if what she wants works at the given location. Talk about taking the stress out of posing people and positioning them where the lighting is best…..it was pretty much done for me.:) Anyway, my family loves this family and we’re glad they live here…..at least for now. We hope we get to keep them around. Thanks guys for a fun afternoon!

Sneak Peek: Truman Family

This family is AWESOME! They were friendly, classy, and good looking to boot. We planned a morning shoot (on what was supposed to be an overcast day) and it was SO BRIGHT. This made for majorly NOT ideal lighting conditions. The location was gorgeous, but the sun made things tough. Hopefully we got some good ones that will work for their family anyway. If not, I would do their shoot again…..they’re that cool. Anyway, as usual, full album coming soon.

Sneak Peek: Ferguson Twins

I got to do a photo shoot with 3 year old twins this past weekend. FUN! They’re so darn cute. And their mother was kind of enough to change it from a morning to an afternoon session after my transmission gave out on the way there. THAT was an adventure in and of itself. But the session went great and I ended up with some darling photos. Yay! Full album coming to facebook soon.

Mission Accomplished

We had every intention of getting a family photo shoot done this fall, but never managed to get to it. I have a photographer friend on the west side and we were going to do a little family shoot swapping, but we haven’t gotten over there…and now it’s winter…and my transmission all but blew up. Anyway, we desperately need a new family photo, so Kyle suggested we try the self-timer. As a photographer, I’ll admit that I scoffed at his idea. I’ve chased little children around, I’ve struggled with getting everyone to look at the camera…..it was a RIDICULOUS idea…..until it wasn’t. The kids were being relatively cooperative and thought that smiling at the pretty, blinking light was a great idea. Kyle tricked our dog into looking by laying her favorite stick against the tripod. It was the perfect time in our yard for the outfits we chose. It was beautifully executed.:) Until a proper session can be done, it’s going on my wall.

Sneak Peek: Kelly Family

I just recently met the Kellys and I just have to say that they’re an awesome family. Adorable, sweet children! Anyway, we’ve been trying to schedule around weather and finally on Friday we just gave it a whirl. We’ll see how they all turn out!:) Here’s a few samples of the shoot.

Sneak Peek: Shaw Family

I’ve known Hannah and Jake for quite some time. Little Kaylee joined their family about 10 months ago. She’s adorable! We did a shoot a few mornings ago down here at the river. I love the colors they chose to wear and how everything turned out overall.:) The full album will be here soon!

Sneak Peek: Matayoshi Family

While over on the westside I got the chance to do a photo shoot with this awesome family. Now, getting all of the kids to cooperate at once was a bit of a challenge…..and I’m not even sure I accomplished it, but they remind me a lot of my own kids and so I got a real kick out of it. Brook, hopefully there will be something that will work for you.:) Here’s just a couple. More coming soon.

Roylance Family Sneak Peek

I LOVE this family. They’re just absolutely darling. And I love the location they chose as well. Trust me, that’s a lot of photo love. Speaking of love, I also love it when I sit down to edit a session and think to myself, “There’s really not much here to edit…..” Good day. Full album will be up soon: www.facebook.com/briannehuwephotography.
